There is a real liberation in the declining of any sense of hierarchy. When you have total respect for all life, the forms reveal themselves to you more fully. Relationships with humans, animals, and all lifeforms can reach new potentials and be a source for great experiences of love and joy.

Any sense that something is “within me” or “outside of me” are concepts you’ve been taught. Notice how everything is arising equally in the same field of awareness.

Even if the body appears to be expressing an emotion, like anger or frustration, or if there is pain, notice that there is just awareness of sensations arising. Anger, sadness, and even pain are no more than concepts. It is possible to notice intense sensations without making them personal, and therefore without suffering.

This apparent period of time following realization is sometimes referred to as integration. It’s learning to engage the human experience while simultaneously maintaining full knowledge of one’s true, infinite nature.

through the use of words, concepts were introduced: good/bad, right/wrong, mine/yours. These concepts gave rise to your mind. In fact, the mind is simply a collection of concepts.

Identification with the mind happens gradually, but for many it becomes well-established around the teenage years, when there is increasing pressure to use the mind to fit in and to define one’s self.

Finally, anadamaya kosha, or the body of bliss, is the thinnest of all the filters. Because infinite being is attributeless, the body of bliss is almost attributeless, except for a pure and subtle quality of bliss.
