Probably just from being frustrated with what I see around me in real life and on the internet and all that. I wanted to create a place I wanted to be. As a business, people should create a world where they want to be, that their customers will love being just like Apple and Disney customers love going to those worlds.
Everyone is trying to knock him off, but he built the world everyone is trying to copy, not realizing it’s not about copying. It’s about building something unique. And that’s always been my goal for World-Building, quite frankly, is to make it something unique and on its own.
It starts with just thinking like that, and not even worrying about the business part, but just how can you think more like a world builder and less like just a straight marketer?
