Assume best intent. If someone asks for more information or updates, they are probably low on confidence and you are probably leaving something ambiguous.

If you don’t feel confidence in someone you rely on, communicate that to the person. Don’t fall into dark patterns of creating policy to try to set up guardrails - collaborate to fix the underlying problem.

Close loops. Don’t wait for people to push you for information, make it available for them to pull from.

Collaborate as early and often as you can, particularly if something is going wrong.
