Contrary to what Fox Entertainment might want you to believe, Brownsville is a safe city. In fact, it was ranked the 16th safest city in the U.S. by SmartAsset in 2022.

He spoke enthusiastically about how the Brownsville campus was reportedly outperforming Austin, sharing that our students were showing better numbers in their data. But if that was true, many of us wondered: why didn’t it feel that way on the ground?
