That's when I went online and found many people had similar concerns as we had at the school, but the school's founder MacKenzie Price referred to them as “Haters”. Were we the “Haters”?

Culty behavior
What ALPHA framed as “growth mindset” often felt more like toxic positivity, a relentless push to stay upbeat and motivated, even when the tools and support they needed weren’t there. Instead of teaching resilience, it sometimes taught them that asking for help or acknowledging difficulty meant they weren’t trying hard enough.
