A Big Little Life

“In my beginning is my end … in my end is my beginning.” I am born to die, but I trust that I die to live again.

We all go into that dark, which is the darkness of God, the ultimate humbling of our prideful kind; therefore, death is a sacred subject requiring me to consider the native knowledge with which I was born, whether I am writing about the death of a fictional person, a real person, or a dog.

She lived to love and to receive love, which is the condition of angels.

But one day Death reveals that life is wasted in these cold passions, because zealotry of any kind precludes love except of the thing that is idolized.
