Sure, it’s helpful when growing up to get guidance and direction, but fundamental to maturity is making your own decisions, defining a meaningful purpose for yourself, and elevating yourself and others through that purpose.

Ideally your contributions to society would be entangled with your own growth.

I believe in expanding concentric circles of care and attention. I think as you get your life in order and align your conditions with your needs - including subtle ones - you naturally overflow with energy which you will feel compelled to share with others.

Why waste time proving over and over how great you are, when you could be getting better? Why hide deficiencies instead of overcoming them?
