1 John 2

“If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever — the Spirit of truth.

My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. 1 John 2:1

The devil knows your sin, Jesus knows your name. And Jesus has given you other believers to bear your burdens. The thief comes to kill, steal, and destroy, but Jesus has come to give you life and that life is best lied and enjoyed in the context of a local church. In that church you will find followers of Jesus who are just like you. They are broke
