... See moreIn an effort to slow you down mid-scroll, the only metric we check on social is the βtotal number of saves.β Here are our top six from the year. π¦₯ π 𦦠On a related note, one of our most frequently asked questions is, βwhat app do you use to make these?β You might LOL at the answer but we actually print them out, hand draw the logo and take a picture of the crinkled paper in sunlight. instagram.comEffective prioritization boosts productivity and ensures urgent tasks get immediate attention.
Boost your productivity by organizing tasks with the Eisenhower Matrix.
The four quadrants of the Eisenhower Matrix:
1. Do:
β Purpose: For tasks that are both urgent and important.
β Criteria for Inclusion:
- Must be done now.
- Has clear consequences if not completed.
- Affects long-term goals.
β Identification:
- These tasks are immediately recognizable.
- They are often the most stressful and at the forefront of your mind.
2. Schedule:
β Purpose: For tasks that are important but not urgent.
β Criteria for Inclusion:
- Affects long-term goals.
- Does not need to be done immediately.
β Action: Schedule these tasks for later.
β Priority: Tackle these tasks after completing tasks in Quadrant One.
β Time Management Tips:
- Use the Pareto principle (focus on the 20% of tasks that yield 80% of the results).
- Use the Pomodoro method (work in focused intervals with breaks).
3. Delegate
β Purpose: For tasks that are urgent but not important.
β Criteria for Inclusion:
- Must be completed now.
- Does not affect long-term goals.
β Action: Delegate these tasks to others.
β Rationale:
- No personal attachment to these tasks.
- Likely do not require your specific skill set.
β Benefits of Delegation:
- Efficient workload management.
- Opportunity for team members to expand their skill set.
4. Delete
β Purpose: For tasks that are neither urgent nor important.
β Identification:
- Tasks left over after sorting into the first three quadrants.
- Unimportant, non-urgent distractions.
β Action: Remove these tasks from your to-do list.
β Rationale: These tasks hinder the accomplishment of your goals.
