It took a team of 8 800 hours to remove 85 m3 of agave green waste at the Castello Site (part of the Life Azores) project. This was estimated to be 10% of the overall agave biomass at that site, leaving 90% there to presumably spread again?
Using back of the napkin assumptions, 85m3 is the equivalent of 140–280 plants, which could yield ~700–1,400 bottles of mezcal-style spirit—enough for a pilot run, bottle sales, tasting room, and early branding.
