    Here are some locomotion warm-up drills I like to practice before engaging in more demanding movements. A thorough warm-up allows me to get a sense of how my body feels on a given day, address any weak links, balance my body, and target various skills with minimal strain. This preparation can be tailored to improve a specific skill or focus on general fitness. It’s a dedicated time to broaden our physical foundation, nourish, and balance the body. I highly recommend investing time in your warm-up before diving into more intense activities. While acrobatics, sports, and other activities bring us great joy, they can be less “healthy” in nature, especially when pushed to the limits. I hope you find something useful here. Enjoy, Karin.
