The dwarf wants the work to LAST. The dwarf wants the object to ENDURE. But endurance is a dwarf metric. The elf doesn't care about endurance. The elf cares about impact. A supernova lasts for seconds and rearranges the chemical composition of galaxies. A rock lasts for billions of years and rearranges nothing.
