This portion of “Oru murai vanthu paarthaya” falls like honey on Nagavalli’s wounds as well as our hearts. I love how there is a nod to “Silappadikaaram”, especially Kannaki’s anklets, which can be perceived as the poet pointing out that Nagavalli’s anger is bequeathed from none other than the actual wearer of those anklets — Kannaki....
