The H5N1 situation is getting terrifying. 64 human infections this year and 26 species, including cats in Los Angeles.
If this gets anywhere near covid proportions, it will be much, much worse — fatality rates are closer to 50%(!) vs Covid's ~1%.
Hope this isn't December 2020 again.
