Isaiah—As the supreme writing prophet, Isaiah foretells Jerusalem’s fall and restoration. More importantly, he prophesies the coming messianic King, the Prince of Peace. This King is also the Suffering Servant who takes away “the iniquity of us all” (Isa 53:6).
