In the middle of the night, two to three million Israelites flee Egypt.

20You showed signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, and to this day in Israel and among all humankind, and have made yourself a name that continues to this very day. 21You brought your people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs and wonders, with a strong hand and outstretched arm, and with great terror; 22and you gave them this land, which

I am Yahweh your Elohim, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. You shall have no other Elohim before me. (Exodus 20:2-3)

Exodus 3 tells of the meeting between Moses and one of the Elohim, who would later become the ruler of the people of Israel under the name Yahweh.

The book of Acts explains that Moses spent 40 years in Midian. Someone said, "Moses was 40 years in Egypt learning something; 40 years in the desert learning to be nothing; and 40 years in the wilderness proving God to be everything" (in James Boice, Ordinary Men, 59).

Here it is even in exodus 16 and the account in the bible says: …and when the dew that lay on the ground was gone up behold upon the face of the wilderness there was a lay a small round thing small as frost on the ground and when the children of Israel saw it they said to one another it is manna for they did not know what it was and so Moses said

the emergence of the descendants through Isaac and Jacob, the captivity in Egypt, the deliverance, the first victorious battles against the nations that tried to prevent the passage of the Israelites, the crossing of the Jordan, the conquest of the city of Jericho, and the first territories of the so-called Promised Land.
