I don’t know how to currently form my thought around these trend I’ve notice of new social / media apps (those that are social and media focused but not content slop). Basically social medias that are build in the same vein as are.na and substack.com

You can predict the future by looking at which subcultures have the most interesting reading lists. They should be practical enough to get stuff done, but unhinged enough to get people thinking differently and overthrow the mainstream consensus.
This old crypto reading list is a good example of what this looks like.
