The School of Life is a global organization committed to emotional education and well-being. It focuses on delivering psychotherapy, as well as drawing upon culture more generally, to illuminate topics of emotional concern. It treats individuals, couples, families and organizations, publishes books, makes films and runs ten centres around the world

The more original and unusual your chosen path, the less likelihood that there will be a ready-made program of study waiting for you. As a creative professional, it is your responsibility to seek out the knowledge, skills, teachers, and mentors who can help you transform yourself from an enthusiastic beginner to a consummate master.

We have collectively left to chance some of what it is most important to know; we have denied ourselves the opportunity to systematically transmit wisdom – reserving our belief in education to technical and managerial skills. The School of Life is a modest attempt to try to spare us a bit of time.
