🚨 Potentially a BFD: Texas, Utah, and Last Energy are suing the NRC, alleging that the NRC is exceeding its legal authority by requiring licensing for *all* reactors, rather than just traditional reactors.
If Texas et al. win, SMRs could be deployed without NRC licensing.
