Sadness is not ‘my sadness’ it is impersonal. It is not ‘mine’. The ‘I am’ (sense of presence) is the space for it. The ‘I’ (being) sits with the discomfort. The ‘I’ (awareness) watches the changes in breath, the tensions, the vibration of life. Like an antelope, the ‘I’ (in the natural state) licks its wounds, rests in the shade and does nothing.
