You exist. As a body-mind form you are being lived. As animating life, you do the living.

The ‘me’, this image that everything is relative to, is a total fiction. This dead image is not the livingness. It is based on yesterday. When the image is not there, the livingness shines forth in its fullness.

Everything is an expression of that activity of knowing — Intelligence energy.

There are a few nice analogies for the futility of getting rid of the ego. A good one from Zen monk Bankei says: “It is like washing away blood with blood. It won’t happen”.
