Thinking in the interrelated pairs of opposites creates the duality of ‘I’ and ‘not-I’.

There is natural intelligence; and then there is the intellect, the mind. Bob: It is not about gaining understanding (intellectual or other); it is about discarding confusion (intellectual clouds).

Why identify as anything?

Why identify with or as this body-mind or someone inside it? Why locate oneself on a tiny planet called Earth looking out and up for the Sun?

the attention, the light of knowing, which is called consciousness.

Loving surrender is known to weaken the so-called ego, to dissolve it in bliss. Surrender understood as a selfless act is a pointer to spontaneous happening. Nobody surrenders to anything.

Direct your attention to its source and assure yourself of that pre-sensory certainty of your own existence.

Animals are permanently in the natural state. They don’t imagine any ego residing inside themselves. They don’t have the narrative self.

You are No-Thing, Undivided. Indivisible. You are not the word but what it points to.
