I usually recommend Harrell’s Regression Strategies, Gelman et al’s Regression and Other Stories and Wasserman’s All off Statistics vol 1. And Bruce Hansen’s Prob and Stats for Economists. I wonder if people reading this have other recs. Can please post in reply, I’d sincerely appreciate.
