A few of the nicer girls tried to befriend her over the years and she mostly clung to the fringes of their social groups, but she never really had a “best friend” and wasn’t invited to many sleepovers.

she differs from the Banker in that she wants to prove her usefulness to the other girls in the group.

On a daily basis, she learns what kind of girl she is “required” to be in order to be accepted by a group, or the consequence of standing her ground.

The Banker is confusing to other girls because she seems harmless yet everyone is afraid of her.

Her identity was based on pleasing others and the fear of not being liked if she didn’t. In her experience, she was not a real person who deserved respect and who, without any fabrication or effort, was lovable.

Since other women often resented her on sight, she did her best to make herself nonthreatening.

If she’s with the Queen Bee too long, she may forget she ever had her own opinion. Her sense of self and identity is entirely formed around her alliance

She has friends in different groups and doesn’t treat people differently when groups are together. She can and will stand up to the Queen Bee in a way that treats them both with dignity.
