The latest character bullet train has joined the fleet in Japan — and this one's for One Piece lovers. The One Piece Shinkansen will go from Shin-Osaka to Hakata in Kyushu and there will be 3 designs: Setouchi Blue (blue), Tony Tony Chopper (pink and white), and Monkey D. Luffy (yellow and white) — guess the theme of each. Keep an ear out for the opening song We Are! and announcements conducted by Luffy and Chopper themselves. Not all trains on this route will be the One Piece Shinkansen, so make sure to check the official operating dates and times on the official website. The first train type Setouchi Blue debuted on April 12, 2025. Tony Tony Chopper will debut on May 28, 2025 and Monkey D. Luffy on July 22, 2025. It has not been decided how long the One Piece Shinkansen will be in operation, they are in it for at least a year or two.
