Sublime

The universe seems to be inherently a phenomenon of and in mind; an internal story; a myth. In Western philosophy, this is known as the metaphysics of idealism, according to which the universe consists solely of ideas in consciousness.

what matters here is the existence of a broader, intuitive part of mind underlying the ego. From this point on, I will call it the ‘obfuscated mind.’

Our emotions are, in effect, reactions, which are generated by the positive or negative responses of the ego/personality.

The idea that the world we experience is a solipsistic delusion projected from the interior of our mind consoles rather than disturbs us, since it conforms with our infantile fantasies of omnipotence; but the thought that our so-called interiority owe its existence to a fictionalized consensus will always carry an uncanny charge.

Whereas the event perspective is that which is known, the mind perspective refers to the knower itself.
