Each messenger We have sent has spoken in the language of his own people, so that he might make the message clear to them. But God lets go astray whom He will and guides whom He pleases. He is the Almighty, the All Wise.

sent down to you the Book; in it are verses basic or fundamental (of established meaning); they are the foundation of the Book: others are allegorical.

With Allah and the Qur’an, all that is on offer is guidance; for Yahweh and the Bible, what is on offer is rescue

for those who follow the Messenger—the unlettered prophet they find described in the Torah
