Whenever she pulls, immediately stop and stand completely still until the leash relaxes, either because your dog has taken a step back or has turned around to give you focus. When the leash is nicely relaxed, proceed on your walk. Repeat this as necessary.

If your puppy already likes to grab things and have you chase him, start by teaching your dog that you will not go chasing him. If your dog grabs and runs, ignore him. He will get bored and drop the item on his own.
