pratyatma gati: “personal/inner/self-realization,” or he qualifies the nature of such realization as sva–pratyatma arya–jnana: “the self–realization of buddha knowledge.”

the nature of this simple practice of ātma-vicāra is the nature of the goal that we seek to attain, namely the state of pure self-awareness (ātma-jñāna), in which we never rise or face outwards to be aware of anything other than ourself.
