You set the agenda, you keep it on topic, and you propose next steps. Don’t be a jerk about it, but do have a plan for the meeting and be assertive about keeping it on track.

Set Agreements for How to Think and Behave during the Meeting

The aim is three to five clear agreements and confirmation from the group to self-enforce the agreements.

The rule is to create tangible evidence that the meeting occurred and produced the desired result.

as a leader, the best way to ensure that everyone arrives at the campsite is to tell them where to go, not how to get there. Give them clear coordinates and let them figure it out.
