We believe that we are dealing with an epidemic of faith formation because we’ve lost moral commitment, dropped prayer in school, declined in church attendance.

In chapter four, we will look briefly at two lives that embody Edwards’s conception of true Christianity.

Faith is actually to enter into Christ; it is to have our own being taken into the being of Jesus.2 Faith is to find our self bound to the faithfulness of Christ, who goes to the cross out of obedience to the Father.
