As the great British preacher Charles Spurgeon once said, “Let your sermons be full of Christ, from beginning to end crammed full of the gospel.”5 That’s what we’re after: sermons crammed full of Christ.

The Bible tells us to love our neighbours, and also to love our enemies; probably because they are generally the same people.

There are times when, if I sit alone and think of the grace of God to me, the most undeserving of all His creatures, I am ready to laugh and cry at the same time for joy that the Lord should have ever looked in love and favor upon me.
