God is the hero of the story.

we’re all sinners who deserve death and separation from God. For those of us who don’t get that, we’re the ones for whom things aren’t fair—we do not get what we deserve.

Common grace is when God’s goodness is displayed to all of humanity, not just His children.

Starting with the sinfulness of humans and the wrath of God against sin, he moves on to tell of God’s grace in salvation, which comes to us through God-given faith and not our works.

God’s family is made up of people with new hearts, not similar DNA.
