I talked to a friend who wants to start a blog and wanted some advice on that—how to find her voice and so on. A few random thoughts:

How to become expert at thing: 1 iteratively take on concrete projects and accomplish them depth wise, learning “on demand” (ie don’t learn bottom up breadth wise) 2 teach/summarize everything you learn in your own words 3 only compare yourself to younger you, never to others

People talk about how AI is going to make design obsolete, and/or make pixel perfect designs not be a thing anymore. I don't think so. Pixel-perfect design mostly existed in designers’ minds anyway. The mocks might perfect but the final product rarely was. Most of the time,
