- Whether it’s on YouTube, blogs, socials, etc., internet storytelling favors first person “I made/did/think this” over the third person “look at what these other people are making/doing/thinking” that’s common in broadcast media.
- If you want to know why writing is so hard for people, ask them: “When was the last time you focused on one thing for more than an hour, without any distractions?” A lack of focus is as limiting as a lack of skill.
- Web3 will be defined by “token effects” and not traditional network effects. What does that mean? Token-based projects have a better shot at building powerful and useful networks that are user-owned and operated. (visualized brilliantly by @LeConcurrential)

- so @julesterpak articulated this on her tiktok (linked below) Social media's positivity/toxicity is inherently about user intent. There's a huge difference between: a) posting to get a reaction b) archiving a memory that you're comfortable sharing b) is far healthier
- Web 2.0 was is about building a community and then selling them out. (with ads etc) 🙃 Web 3.0 is about building and selling with your community. 🙂
