So — bringing us back to my original question — why is the Internet so lonely? I believe it’s because we haven’t yet found a way to meaningfully share our digital experiences.

The most convincing form of disagreement is refutation. It's also the rarest, because it's the most work. While refutation generally entails quoting, quoting doesn't necessarily imply refutation.
This does not mean that Slack doesn’t help some or even most employees. But it holds back the most productive among us and prevents them from coming up with ideas that would make all their colleagues redundant.
