This is the exact point I was trying to make - what's the point in creating for an imaginary exacting audience, especially when you can create for yourself instead.
One reason per-project procrastination is so dangerous is that it usually camouflages itself as work. You're not just sitting around doing nothing; you're working industriously on something else. So per-project procrastination doesn't set off the alarms that per-day procrastination does. You're too busy to notice it.

We need to redefine complexity because it’s seen as a thing to avoid instead of a thing to chase. Simplicity gets all the attention; and it frames complexity as a sin. I think we’re confusing complexity for convolution (complexity gone wrong). I’d argue that complexity is the holy grail.

ChatGPT is a language model - it works on predicting word sequences, and astoundingly comes up with things that seems ingenious to us. Like it’s thought of something we’re unable to think of. Is there a way for us to emulate this word-based thinking of ChatGPT to sharpen creativity?
