if you wanna argue for your limitations you get to keep them
brought up a host of emotions I still have no receptacle for — emotions tethered to a fear of mortality, a fear that I’m not doing enough, a fear that what it is I do day in and day out isn’t quite being alive.
we search for grand narratives. But to realize that moving one step forward is the whole game is something most people, if they ever even realize it, don’t realize until much later.
