Ideas I want to write about and creativity
Da Vinci followed his curiosity relentlessly, without question, without compromise.
He did what his curiosity told him to do, not what other thought he should or must do.
Note to self that I grew up doing what people told me a should or must do (at least some
of the time) and so I’m still susceptible to this even if it’s coercion by projection all within my two ears.
He also relied on experiment instead of book learning.

Lastly, our curiosity is sparked when something doesn’t make sense which then causes us to have problems. So we’re curious to understand it.
That doesn’t mean a good explanations doesn’t exists.
This is another note to self - if you find yourself curious, it doesn’t mean your supposed explanation is novel or true or even close to as good as the best explanation that currently exists.
This is all to Say, follow your curiosity but just know that it will not always lead you to creativity.. it’s just a shot a creativity.
You want to take as many shots at creativity as possible.
Don’t get stuck on curiosity that leads you to explanations that are weaker than once on existence only to save your ego.
Be wary of your ego and it’s creations, they’re not always good explanations even if they came from the always good, always innocent curiosity.
“I started Write of Passage to take the loneliness out of writing”
This is what I’ve been fascinated in. We need to create a new renaissance. One were we collaborate with other creators.
I want to do this for all creative endevours.
Maybe you should join Greg Isenbergs club if he has one
Or maybe you should organize retreats like Jeremy’s where you invite all the intellectual people you find interesting and go do something together, go work together. Go live near each other for a couple weeks.
Go build a city upon the hill for creativity.
