You know when you’re somewhere unfamiliar - in a new city, sleeping at a friend of a friend’s place for example, but there are certain actions that bring you back to yourself. A cigarette on the balcony, a coffee made from the espresso machine in the kitchen that you sip slowly as you read the morning paper.
