But look at the wings we grew✨ I’ve added two sketches. The first one is always very abstract and made with a pencil. Ideas always pour out of me when I hold a pencil. Second sketch is a more detailed one made digitally. 🌲 . . . . . #digitalart #birdsart

If you lean towards avoidance, an anxious partner’s reaction might feel overwhelming - like alarm bells are going off all around you, and you don’t know how to disarm them. Your urge may be to try to fix it, not because it’s what they need, but because it’s the fastest way to de-escalate your overwhelm. Supporting a partner with anxious attachment often involves a lot of emotion regulation yourself - telling yourself “I’m okay, we’re okay”, believing that their reaction is not entirely about you, being with the distress without panicking. Note: These tools do not apply to 100% of people with anxious attachment leanings 100% of the time. Everyone is different (some of these will also be relevant for avoidant or disorganized folks) - these are just some ideas to get you started. What other ways have you learned to support others (or yourself) through dysregulation? #Queer #QST #QueerSexTherapy #Communication #AnxiousAttachment #QueerTherapist #SexTherapy #SexTherapist

Agencies within the Trump administration have flagged hundreds of words to limit or avoid, according to a compilation of government documents. These terms appeared in government memos, in official and unofficial agency guidance and in other documents viewed by The New York Times. Some agencies ordered the removal of these words from public-facing websites, or ordered the elimination of other materials (including school curricula) in which they might be included. In other cases, federal agency managers advised caution in the terms’ usage. The presence of some terms was also used to automatically flag for review some grant proposals and contracts that could conflict with Trump’s executive orders. The shift is already apparent on hundreds of federal government websites. At the link in our bio, read more and see notable examples of the changes

✨The Carnivorous Series✨ Throughout this series I was examining themes of adaptation. Looking back now I can see how my exploration of adaptation within the realm of the carnivorous plant world was also a reflection of my own adaptation. Fresh of the boat (so-to-speak) I had just moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana from Portland, Oregon when I painted this series and I stuck out like a sore thumb (still do- and proudly so) I’m still adapting to my new environment here. But learning to love it with each passing day. Rooting in and getting comfortable. ❤️🌿✨ #carnivorousplants #plantlovers #plantladylife #magicalrealism #plantspirit #natureworship

Part 2 to my previous post recommending books for fans of Severance The Employees is one of my favourite books of all time so I can’t believe I forgot to include it in my first post Not all of these books will have all of the different elements of the tv show but they’re definitely books I think you might enjoy with similar themes #bookstagram #severance #bookrecommendation #bookslikeseverance #weirdbooks
