People form opinions all the time, make judgments, sometimes try to dictate how I should live and love, though at the end of the day, they’re only working with a fraction of the story. I have the whole book, written from the one point of view that matters most because I’m the one living it.

Choose depth over speed, always. Read long-form articles or books and you'll notice your mind slowly repairing itself. Build long projects, stick with something and don't give up too easily. Train your patience. Don't be scared of boredom.
Make your reading discipline a daily ritual. When it is time for digital sunset, switch over to a physical book.
