Work on things that won't change in a decade or in decades, as Jeff Bezos always says.

It's very tempting to get attracted by the next shiny ball, the new AI tool, the new LLM, the new gadget, the new game, and we constantly keep jumping from one new shiny ball to another new shiny ball, not realizing that decades get wasted chasing something which may not even survive the constant change that society and consumer behavior or you know business goes through.

We never land up working on things that just don't change. Like health, it just won't change - eating healthy, working out, it won't change. It will always be required to look sharper, feel sharper, be more productive. Relationships are not going to change. Being humble, being courteous, being easy to deal with, being warm in your persona - these will build relationships that could last for life. It's not going to change.

Becoming good at that is more bang for your buck than trying to sometimes attend a seminar that will teach you on trading crypto, which is the shiny ball that sometimes becomes too seductive.

So there are so many things that are just not going to change, and some people could work on things that are just not going to change in decades to come. They could be so much a better version, they could produce so much more.
