Read the first book after watching the first movie. Loved the book just like I loved the movie. I do not remember going back to read the rest of the book series, but I finished the movie series.

I read this book in middle school (7th or 8th grade). First book that had me CRYING. I remember mom even walked in when I was in the middle of crying about the book. I was so excited for the movie and even had my ex boyfriend come with me and my mom to watch it. I didn’t cry then, but my mom bought me the DVD and we both cried rewatching it a long while later.

Loved this book when I read it in I think 11th grade. I remember I had to do an assignment for the book I was reading at the time (this one) and I wrote it to my dear friend Ame/Jaden/Jelly.

I had to read this book for my 10th grade English class. Another really good book I, in hindsight, am glad we had to read. Simon was my favorite character. Partially want to reread this now, but also there are many other things I want to read/reread.

I had to read this book for my 8th grade English class. I am glad we were made to read this book. I really enjoyed the story actually. I kind of want to reread this book actually.

I was really into crystals at one point, which is why I had gotten this book and read it.

I had to read this for my 7th grade class. Not sure if it was an English unit or history unit. Anyway, I think this is an important book that everyone should read at least once. It highlights the personal experience of a young girl and her family trying to hide from the German Nazi’s to avoid going into a concentration camp. It is painful remembering the ending; how the dad was the only one who survived after the family was found and taken to a concentration camp. It horrifies me that people are holocaust deniers, but we have primary sources for the event.

Another one I had to read for English class. I’m pretty sure I read it for 10th grade English. Anyway, again I do not like reading Shakespeare.

I was really into The Lightning Thief after the first movie came out. Partially want to re-read the series since I only read maybe the first three or four books.
