Experience has shown that a positioning exercise is a search for the obvious. Those are the easiest concepts to communicate because they make the most sense to the recipient of a message.
Messages would “sound better” in print if they were designed for radio first. Yet we usually do the reverse. We work first in print and then in the broadcast media.
When we dress to be photographed, we increasingly dress to be distributed as an image, and thus transformed into a kind of ad.
Attachment to a singular narrative is like pinning an insect to a board and measuring it: if you aren’t watching it in flight, you’re missing the point.
