I don't think anybody ever knows what another person means when they speak, frankly. It's more than translation, it's just throwing yourself into the dark. Language is so very, very personal, private. Weird. I guess you could think of it as translation, that seems like a kind of euphemistic metaphor. It's probably a lot more hopeless than that. But

My life's purpose is to 'make stuff I can be proud of'. That's what gets me going in the morning and pushes me through the day into night.
