There are two ways I have seen “whimsy” presented on the internet—first being that it is an “aesthetic” and second being a way to live or to revert back to how you used to live

our perception becomes our reality!!

The dictionary defines whimsical as “playfully quaint or fanciful, especially in an appealing and amusing way.” To me, its about being carefree, imaginative, hopeful, and maybe even a little delusional (in the best possible way obvi).

The more advanced we get, the more we seem to forget what made us human in the first place: wonder, imagination, the strange glittery unpredictability of being alive.

“whimsy” means being unafraid to make your own fun, no matter how silly it may seem. Whimsy means unapologetically being yourself, and showing up as that authentic-self in every space you enter.

The people who are best at living with whimsy are the ones who are delusional enough to believe they are still young. There’s something in their spirit that still has the lights on, despite what life has done to snuff it out. They have that birthday cake candle that will just never go out, no matter how often you blow against it like a fairytale... See more
