I like the idea of having a place for all of my favorite ideas and thoughts and quotes to live. When I first read the emerson quote I interpreted as: Make your own bible! Write down the things that you believe in and live by, not have a collection of quotes you like.

I’m more interested in the idea of an art director as a career because it is hands on and can be project specific. It sounds like creative directors are more big picture kind of people which is not as enticing to me in a career. I like the idea of getting my hands dirty and working with artists directly rather than being a strategic brand centered
