thinking of the phoenix and how it rises from it’s own ashes; a sign of rebirth.
“In death there is immortality—not the death of which you are afraid but the death of previous, memories, experiences, which you have identified as the ‘ME’. In the dying of the ‘ME’ every minute is eternity, there is immortality.”
When I think with clarity or avoid destructive thoughts of the past, I am dying. I am destroying a framework that was constructed through conditioning. Rebuilding out of the ashes a new being and creating something that aligns with the unknown.
“For, that which continues, decays, and that which has the power to renew itself, is eternal”
Finding that which is everlasting must go through renewal. Complete destruction to develop something unbeknownst to my reality. And that too will be destroyed. The acceptance of death invigorates the soul to find comfort in the present.
reminds me of moments with Genesis and when I used to write letters to girls in primary school.
