Roofscapes Studio

Roofscapes is a startup launched at the MIT School of Architecture and Urban Planning in Boston in 2020. The company was founded with the mission of transforming unused rooftops into green and accessible surfaces, in order to mitigate the effects of climate change and provide new outdoor spaces in cities.
Roofscapes currently works on deploying climate adaptation projects in the Île-de-France region for individuals, local authorities, and property companies, and is leading initiatives in other urban centers within the European research programs Multiroofs (supported by the Interreg North-West Europe program) and aRTes (supported by the Driving Urban Transition program).
