Niv Tishbi writes: The installation features dozens of folding chairs, sunbeds, side tables, and parasols—elements familiar from a beach setup—arranged throughout the museum's outdoor terrace. Human figures, depicted in various stages of relaxation and sunbathing, are merged into the fabric of the sunbeds and chairs. The figures are sewn onto the metal frames, creating a hybrid, or mutation, between objects representing rest, comfort, and freedom, and the human body itself. Merging with the furniture, the figures become mass-produced items that reflect our common desires: comfort, abundance, and tranquility. @nivu_san Dear Niv, This is lovely and sweet and I very much hope that these folding chairs are usable for the museum visitors and not presented as a fenced-off installation.
