He doesn’t accept “this is just the way things are done.” By default, life pushes you around, and to work the way you want to work, you need to ask for it. Sometimes you will forget to do this, but this clip of David Lynch being upset will remind you, and you’ll ask for what you need and the world will open up to you a little.
